Introduction

For years I’ve been exploring what it truly means to live and lead with authenticity, compassion, and balance. Today, I’m thrilled to share the result of that journey: my book Tides. Grow and heal as a human being and as a leader.

Tides is an invitation to step out of constant striving and reconnect with what matters. From self‑acceptance to purpose, each chapter offers stories, nature‑based metaphors, and practical tools for shifting from self‑criticism to inner steadiness, from disconnection to meaningful relationships, and from overwhelm to clarity.

My hope is that Tides becomes a companion for anyone craving a gentler, wiser way of being.

From the book

Deep listening helps you stay present and truly connect. Deep listening keeps you present and helps you connect with others. It means paying attention to what someone says—their words, tone, and even their pauses—instead of planning your response. Try counting to three in your head before you reply, keeping your focus on the speaker. This pause gives their words space and stops you from interrupting. Silence becomes part of the conversation, showing care: “I see you, I hear you, and you matter.” It also helps you notice body language. The main point: deep listening builds trust and engagement. Another easy way to connect is by making eye contact. Looking into someone’s eyes, gently and steadily, builds trust and helps people feel seen, saying, “I am here with you.” In a world full of distractions, steady eye contact shows you are present and strengthens your connection. Keep in mind that comfort with eye contact varies across cultures; sometimes it can feel uncomfortable or signal status, so adjust to what feels right for each person. Besides eye contact, sharing quiet moments can also bring teams closer.”

🌿 Thank you for being part of this journey.
